1 lb beef sirloin or flank steak thinly sliced Salt and black pepper to taste 2 tbsp olive oil 3 tbsp unsalted butter 5 cloves garlic minced ⅓ cup honey BBQ sauce 1 tbsp honey optional, for extra sweetness 8 small flour or corn tortillas Toppings: shredded lettuce red onion, diced tomatoes, avocado, shredded cheese, sour cream, lime wedges
Prep the Beef: Season sliced beef with salt and pepper.
Sear the Beef: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear beef slices for 3–4 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
Make Garlic Butter Sauce: In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Add butter and garlic. Sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
Add BBQ & Honey: Stir in BBQ sauce and honey. Simmer for 2 minutes.
Combine: Return seared beef to the skillet. Toss in the sauce until well-coated and heated through.
Warm the Tortillas: While beef simmers, warm tortillas in a dry pan or microwave.
