Ingredients

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts (sliced in half lengthwise)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes optional

Instructions

  • Prepare the Chicken: Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  • Sear the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  • Make the Sauce: Reduce heat and add butter. Sauté garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Add Liquids: Pour in chicken broth and scrape the bottom of the skillet. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Let simmer for 2 minutes.
  • Combine Everything: Add spinach and let it wilt. Return chicken to the skillet and coat with the sauce.
  • Simmer & Serve: Let cook for another 5 minutes until the sauce thickens. Serve hot!
