Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Hand mixer or whisk
  • Piping bag or ziplock bag
  • Small spoon or knife

Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh strawberries
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup graham cracker crumbs optional for garnish
  • 2 tbsp melted chocolate optional for drizzle

Instructions

  • Prepare the Strawberries – Wash and dry the strawberries thoroughly. Using a small knife, hull out the center of each strawberry to create space for the cheesecake filling.
  • Make the Cheesecake Filling – In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  • Fill the Strawberries – Transfer the cheesecake mixture into a piping bag or ziplock bag with the corner snipped off. Pipe the filling into the hollowed-out strawberries.
  • Garnish – Sprinkle graham cracker crumbs over the top for a classic cheesecake touch. Drizzle with melted chocolate if desired.
  • Chill and Serve – Refrigerate for at least 15 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld together.

Notes

  1. Use Fresh, Firm Strawberries – Soft or overripe strawberries may not hold the filling well.
  2. Room Temperature Cream Cheese – This ensures a smooth and lump-free filling.
  3. Don’t Overfill – A little filling goes a long way; overfilling may cause it to spill over.
  4. Chill Before Serving – This helps the flavors blend and makes them easier to eat.
