Keep 4 cups or 600 grams of full cream liquid milk in your freezer for 2 to 4 hours or until it turns into almost ice. This is important because we want a glass of frothy and thick Chocolate Milk Shake, or you can say cold coffee-like consistency. Instead of iced cold milk or frozen milk, you can use normal-temperature milk and crushed ice to get a similar result.
Once the milk is ready transfer it (or milk and crushed ice) into a mixer blender. Now add sugar or any other sweetener of your choice as per your preferred quantity. Usually, I don’t like too much sweetness and chocolate sauce is sweet too, I have added ¼ cup of sugar.
Add 2 tablespoons of powdered milk or cream to the blender. This step will make your milkshake rich and creamy. But if you want a light version, skip adding milk powder or cream.
Here comes the most exciting part. Pour 2 tablespoons of chocolate sauce into that milk. Instead of chocolate sauce, you can add melted chocolate or cocoa powder as well. If you are a chocolate lover like me, feel free to mix more chocolate sauce.
As all the ingredients are added to the milk, close the lid of the blender and blend till you get frothy consistency. Serve the chocolate milkshake with perfection and enjoy.
